Colonel (R) John Hannon has served nearly thirty years in the Army and commanded at all levels from Platoon to Battalion. His military career began in the Combat Arms Branches where he led a Tank Platoon in Desert Storm with the First Infantry Division. He ultimately rose to Military Deputy Director of Army Contracting Command (ACC) at Rock Island Arsenal. In addition, Colonel Hannon is a veteran of multiple deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt and other countries across the Middle East. He led a capstone command assignment with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in the Middle East, a role that led to him being selected to serve as Director of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in Rhiyad, Saudi Arabia for two years.
Colonel Hannon completed the U.S. Army War College in Residence at Carlisle, PA and is a graduate of Airborne and Ranger Schools. He is Level 3 Certified in both Contracting and Program Management.
