Michael A. Pritchard

Michael A. Pritchard is the former Senior Vice President of Global Security for Hunt Consolidated Oil Company (“Hunt Oil”) and a former Senior Executive Service (SES) Special Agent in Charge of the U. S. Secret Service.

For over twelve years (12), with Hunt Oil Company, Pritchard was responsible for all matters concerning protection of Hunt Oil Company personnel and assets world- wide.  This was accomplished in large part by his creating and establishing a formal Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”), a disaster plan with relocation sites, including development of a book titled “Surviving the 21st Century” to assist all Hunt personal worldwide in their own self protection.

Pritchard retired as the Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Office of the U. S. Secret Service after a twenty-six year (26) career.  During this career he served as a Special Agent in numerous field offices, Task Forces, and he was a supervisory agent in Special Operations Counter Terrorism (CAT) Teams while assigned to presidential protection of Ronald W. Reagan and George W. Bush.  Additionally, he protected five (5) other U. S. presidents as well as numerous foreign visiting heads-of-state.   During his career, Pritchard conducted protective assignments, criminal and intelligence investigations, as well a participated in counter-terrorism (CAT) assignments, in over 60 countries.

Pritchard is a former Atlanta police officer, homicide detective, as well as a former  U. S. Marine.
