Stephanie Usry Bellistri is a 22-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency where she held numerous leadership positions as a senior operations officer in the National Clandestine Service. She has extensive experience in the full range of operational missions, including counterterrorism, counterintelligence, counternarcotics, counterproliferation, and military operations. She served as Deputy Chief of Operations in CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, Deputy Chief of WMD Counterterrorism and Chief of Interagency Relations on the Afghan Task Force, She also served as CIA Liaison to US Atlantic Command, was Special Assistant to the Director of,Counterintelligence and Chief of Iran Branch in CIA’s Counterproliferation Division.
During her time at CIA, Bellistri received numerous medals and awards, to include the Intelligence Commendation Medal, the George H. Bush Award for Excellence in Counterterrorism, the Counterintelligence Star, and several Meritorious Unit Citations.
After leaving Agency service, Bellistri served nearly six years as a senior advisor for Palantir, a leading Silicon Valley software company, where she held numerous leadership positions. She managed Palantir’s strategic relationships with some of the largest companies in the defense industry, led National Security business development, and played a lead role in helping Palantir establish internal mechanisms to grow from a start-up to a $20 billion company. She also advised Palantir’s senior leadership on security matters related to their rapidly expanding global footprint.
Ms. Bellistri is a recognized expert on national security, counterintelligence and security matters. She is currently serving as an Independent Advisor to several technology start-ups whose clients span the domestic and global national security, transportation, sports and entertainment sectors.
She is married to Jeff Bellistri, has two children, and lives in Potomac, MD.
